Witprol Rubber Process Oils are manufactured through refining crude oil, where they undergo meticulous distillation and treatment to achieve specific characteristics. These oils are categorized into three main groups below based on their unique chemical compositions and properties.

Aromatic Rubber Processing Oils

Witprol Aromatic Processing Oils for rubbers are a type of oil containing high levels of aromatic hydrocarbons and are opaque in colour. They are known for enhancing the elasticity and strength of rubber compounds, making them particularly useful in products requiring superior durability.

These processing oils are used in the manufacture of automotive and Off-the-Road (OTR) tyres, retread rubber, molded and extruded products, conveyor belts, and other applications. They are compatible with Natural Rubber (NR), Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR), and Polybutadiene Rubber (PBR).

Naphthenic Rubber Processing Oils

Witprol Naphthenic Processing Oils for rubbers are oils composed mainly of naphthenic hydrocarbons and are yellow in colour. They are valued for improving the way rubber mixes and shapes, which is useful for making flexible and well-formed rubber products.

These processing oils are used in the manufacture of extruded and molded articles, Hawai sheets, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) tubes, shoe soles, automotive tubes, and other applications. They are compatible with Natural Rubber (NR), Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (SBR), and Polybutadiene Rubber (PBR).

Paraffinic Rubber Processing Oils

Witprol Paraffinic Processing Oils for rubbers are oils made mostly of paraffin-based hydrocarbons and are clear in colour. They are valued for their strong heat resistance and stability, making them ideal for rubber products that require durability under high temperatures and long-term use.

These processing oils are used in the manufacture of butyl tubes, Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) profiles, conveyor belts, hoses, and other applications. They are compatible with EPDM and Isobutylene-Isoprene Rubber (IIR) rubbers.
