Witcoat Red Oxide Primer


Witcoat Red Oxide Primer is an anticorrosive primer based on Synthetic aromatic solvent and additive mixture. It has excellent durability and matt finish. It has antirust protective properties.


As a surface tolerant primer for the protection of interior and exterior steel in severely corrosive atmosphere. It is widely used for the protection coat for of windows frames, fences, structural steel, pipes, field machinery and storage tanks, etc from Chemical fumes, excessive heat and humidity ,rain and wind.

Remove oil grease with suitable detergent solution; and other contaminants by high pressure fresh water hosing. Dust off the residue.

Apply only on a dry and clean surface, with a temperature above the dew point to avoid condensation.

As a general rule, inhalation of solvent vapour or paint mist and contact of liquid paint with skin and eyes should be avoided. Forced ventilation should be provided when working with solvent borne coating in confined spaces or stagnant air. Even when ventilation is provided respiratory skin& eyes protection are always recommended when spraying. In addition, national local safety regulations should be followed.
